Talking Welcome - About Blue Oval Trucks

Welcome everyone,

Back in 1999 I created www.therangerstation.com for off-road Ford Ranger enthusiasts. It has become a huge resource for Ford Ranger, Bronco II and Mazda B-Series owners.

During that time I've owned a:

- 1989 Ford F-250 7.3L Diesel
- 2004 Ford F-150 5.4L
- 2007 Ford F-150 5.4L
- 2010 Ford F-150 5.4L

These have all served as tow rigs for hauling my Rangers around. I have just as much interest in the fullsizes as I do the midsize trucks.

With the recent purchase and planned modifications to my new 2010 F-150, I decided to finally pursue my desire to launch a new site focused at the fullsize Fords for 2010.

I hope that this site will grow and be able to accumulate information from enthusiasts to share with other enthusiasts as The Ranger Station has.

Enjoy!

I love the 1967-79 trucks. I've owned a '68 F-250 and a '74 F-100 which ran up to 400,000 miles. I always thought this was the best looking series of full-size trucks.

The Ranger Station was a very good site. So I thought I'd follow you here. Thanks for the invite.

First off congrats on the new site, I hope it prospers as TRS did.

I was glad to find myself registered.

I have a 2003 Ranger EDGE and it is a great truck that doesn’t know it’s little but my heart is with the ’48-’52 F-1s.

I owned a bright red (E4?) ’48 F-1 with a J-2 Olds Engine, in HS and it was a chick magnet, the ladies loved it.
I am at the moment working on a Ford Powered CJ8 in a ground up build of a BRAND new vehicle. Long Rod 5.0L with a few goodies inside and a lot of HD stuff included through out. When completed, I am starting my search in ernest for the F1.

Again good luck,

Congrats on the new site and the 10 F-150! I am on TRS as well and I hope this site becomes for us full-size guys as TRS is for the RBV's guys have!!I joined as I became fed up w/ all the general and politcall BS on the other fourm sites.TRS focuses on the trucks and off-roading which I can appreciate!!

I am partial to the 97-03 bodystyle but I LOVE All things FORD related I have owned 91 Mustang GT,94 Mustang GT,00 Explorer xls and my pride and joy 02 F-150 lariat screw 4x4.

Ah ha! the missing link. It only makes sense to have the full size crowd too! I have a 90' fullsize bronco that i use for hauling my B2 around, and im very glad to see that my ranger station name works here. Keep up the good work guys.

I was also happy to see my TRS login info worked here! I'm looking to get into the full size market myself, with a Bronco I hope, as I need a bigger rig to do my towing but still want to be able to trail ride and sling mud. I've always wanted a Bronco, especially one I can take the back off and cruise around town with!

I'm partial to the '48-'52s also myself however I'm also more of a speed kinda guy which is why I'm building a bit of a weekend racer of which I will be towing around with my future new rig.

Jeremy

P.S. I hope to be coming back to this site a lot for meets/chatting more so than issues concerning my Ford, but I'm sure it will be chock-full of info once word gets out!!!

The rangerstation has always been the best ford site out there, I have a few full size trucks but never had a good site for information and help, but now that problem is solved. Thanks Jim, and keep up the good work.

No problem. I know the forums will be slow to pick up. My focus is tech articles. If anyone has any let me know.

Thanks.
