Default 2 wd m5od with np205?

my brother is working on a play truck and was wondering what needs to be done to put a married np205 to a m5od 2 wd trans. help would be appreached as we're planning on goin to pipeline once it opens

If he has a M50D-R1 from a ranger, it cant be done in a time or cost effective way.


If he has a M5OD-R2 from a full size, he needs to swap out the output shaft and tail housing for a 4x4 output shaft and a 4x4 extension housing.

Plus he will need to make sure he uses the extra frame bracket for the 205 that attaches the side of the case to the frame or the weight of the 205 will break the aluminum transmission case.
