Ford Custom Garage Reveals Ford Maverick 300T Project Vehicle

Debuting at SEMA 2025, the Ford Maverick 300T project vehicle improves Maverick 2.0-liter EcoBoost performance to 300 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque along with an aggressive exhaust note. It’s lowered and leveled as well, giving it that classic street truck stance along with improved shocks and a larger stabilizer bar to help improve handling.

The package results in a street truck project vehicle with content upgrades that give Maverick owners exactly what they’ve been asking for: more power, more style, and more fun.

It’s designed to pair with 2025 Maverick AWD XL, XLT, and Lariat models with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost engine. It’s recommended customers would equip their Maverick with the 4K tow package, ensuring the truck’s drivetrain and cooling systems can handle the increased performance.

At the heart of the Ford Maverick 300T is the turbocharger from the 2.3-liter Mustang EcoBoost, featuring a significantly larger 59 mm compressor wheel (up from 53 mm) that helps delivers an estimated 50 additional horsepower and 40 lb-ft of torque over the stock 2.0-liter engine. Combined with a high-performance Mishimoto intercooler and ProCal 4 tuning, the 300T doesn’t just add power — it helps transform the Maverick driving experience.

The turbocharger package is designed to be 50-state legal and would be backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile Ford Performance Parts warranty when installed by a Ford Dealer or ASE-certified technician.

“Maverick owners are some of the most passionate and creative enthusiasts we have,” said Matt Simpson, Executive Director, Ford Accessories and Personalization. “They’ve shown us incredible builds online and at meetups across the country. The Maverick 300T package gives them a factory-engineered and backed way to unlock serious performance while maintaining the practicality and efficiency that made them fall in love with Maverick in the first place.”

“We’ve heard from Maverick customers that they want to personalize their Maverick with unique looks and better performance, so we created the Maverick 300T,” added Simpson. “The upgraded suspension, wheels, tires, and brakes work together to make a more capable, more confident truck whether you’re merging onto the highway with a trailer, carving through canyon roads, or just enjoying your daily commute.”

For Ford Maverick enthusiasts attending SEMA 2025, the Maverick 300T will be on display at the Ford Performance Parts booth, where visitors can see the complete package up close. For more information, visit fordcustomgarage.com

Growing up, my father always believed that every family needed a truck—there’s just something about having a vehicle capable of hauling anything at a moment’s notice. That philosophy stuck with me, and it’s been the foundation of my lifelong passion for Ford trucks.

While I’m best known for my work with Ford Rangers, I’ve owned a wide variety of Ford trucks over the years—including F-150s, F-250s, F-350s, and even larger rigs like the Ford Excursion, Ford Expedition, and a 1982 Ford Econoline Sportsmobile camper van. I’ve used these vehicles for everything from family transportation to towing car trailers and campers, and each one has fueled my love for Ford’s versatility and durability.

I especially enjoy the styling of 1970s and 1980s Ford trucks—the bold designs, rugged presence, and classic charm are timeless. Sharing my passion for Ford trucks, vans, and SUVs with other enthusiasts online brings me a great deal of joy, and it’s why I created Blue Oval Trucks.

This website is dedicated to helping Ford truck enthusiasts explore, learn about, and celebrate these incredible vehicles. While I share my expertise and experiences here, Blue Oval Trucks is an independent enthusiast site and is not affiliated with Ford Motor Company.
