There’s something cool about a patina body with nice white painted wheels and bumpers. This 1967 Ford Bronco is a cool looking ride, but don’t let that patina fool you into thinking everything about this Bronco is old.
The tired old engine was replaced with a modern 5.0L Coyote V8 with a 3-inch single exhaust backed by a 6R80 six-speed automatic and a Dana 20 transfer case. The original Dana 30 front axle has been replaced with a Dana 44, and the Dana 44 front and 9-inch rear both have 3.50 gears.
The suspension received a Wild Horses 2.5-inch suspension lift with a set of James Duff T-Rex Radius arms and Bilstein 7100 shocks. The newly painted frame is also home to new brake lines, fuel lines, and a 23-gallon fuel tank.
The Bronco rides on 275/65R18 (32.1×10.8×18) BFGoodrich All-Terrains mounted on 18-inch custom steel wheels with retro hubcaps. A Hydroboost brake booster sends brake fluid to disc brakes at all four wheels.
Inside you’ll find tan leather seats, leather armrest, leather dash, and leather wrapped interior panels. A Retrosound stereo system and 5-channel amplifier sends the music to 6.5-inch speakers and a 10-inch subwoofer. The dash is also home to a Vintage Air system and a Dakota Digital RTX speedometer.
The restored hardtop was treated to a Wimbledon White suede headliner and there’s also a 4-point rollbar.
Other upgrades include LED headlights and a Proto Fab rear bumper with swing out tire carrier with a matching spare wheel and tire.
I really like how parts of the interior and engine bay were repainted blue, but the patina was left on the exterior.
