1965 Ford F-100 Gulf FrankenFord

At first glance, the lowered stance and the raised bed floor would likely have you thinking this truck benefits from a full air ride suspension.  However, that’s not the case.  Thinking completely outside of the box, the builder of this truck modified the chassis of a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria to accept the 1965 F100 body to sit on top.  The result is the stance of an air ride suspension with the virtually bulletproof reliability of the Ford Panther platform.  The stock 4.6 Liter V8 and Crown Vic dashboard are both nicely integrated as well. Nice quality touches include the power window and seat switches integrated into the custom door panels.  While the Gulf livery may not be for everyone, whoever completed the job appears to be an artist and we love it.

If you want the look of a sixties vintage truck but prefer to ride around with modern reliability and convenience features, this may be the truck for you.  With its modern powertrain, we’re pretty confident this would make a great daily driver as long as you’re prepared to answer people’s questions everywhere you drive it.

This truck was listed for sale on Craigslist. According to the seller:
