The Brazil built Ford F-Series-based “B100” may be the greatest SUV ever. The giant rectangle on wheels has two doors on one side, one on the other, barn-doors out back, and three sets of bench seats.

River City Rods & Fabrication out of Davenport, Iowa built this amazing Ford B100 named “El Chapo”. This 1976 Ford B100 rides on a custom Roadster Shop chassis featuring RideTech suspension, and Energy Suspension polyurethane bushings.

Power comes from a Gen 2 Coyote 5.0L with Holley Dual Quad EFI Dominator EFI, custom valve covers, and a custom air cleaner. Power is sent through a 6-speed manual transmission to a Currie 9-inch rear axle.

The B100 rolls on Billet Specialties wheels wrapped in 20-inch Falken Zenith tires in the front, and 22-inch tires in the rear. Wilwood brakes brings the big SUV to a stop.

Nearly every detail of “El Chapo” has been custom designed. The grill started out as a solid piece of aluminum and required more than 300 hours of design and cutting time. The red leather interior is a piece of art as well.
