Looking for a snorkel for your Ford Super Duty or Excursion? Safari Snorkel has one for a Ford F250/350 7.3L V8 Diesel.
Safari Snorkel – SS910HF
The Safari SS910-HF snorkel is tough and stylish and has been designed to deliver a huge volume of the coolest and cleanest air possible into the stock air cleaner assembly of the Ford F-Series.

Right from the start, Safari took the decision to design a snorkel system that exceeded the air flow requirements of the tough 7.3L V8 Diesel engine – and through thorough engineering and exhaustive testing of the SS910HF snorkel system, those lofty design targets were achieved.

Close attention to the internal cross sectional profile and area, air velocity and flow path through each and every point along the entire length of the snorkel system ensures that the greatest air flow is achieved.

This of course applies to components that are not visible. For example a custom alloy casting is installed onto the air cleaner assembly inside the engine bay and forms a rugged mounting point from the snorkel body exit and positive connection to the standard air cleaner assembly. This special casting also delivers a clean shot of air directly from the snorkel body and into the air cleaner.
The result is maximum engine performance and the best possible fuel economy.

The Safari Snorkel body is manufactured to the highest standards in durable, UV stable, cross linked polyethylene material. In addition, the substantial material wall thickness delivers huge physical strength to ensure that the snorkel breezes through the toughest off-road conditions on the planet.

The Safari Snorkel system is supplied as a complete and comprehensive system that includes every nut, bolt and bracket required for installation – right from robust zero-corrosion stainless steel studs, self-locking nyloc nuts and to the large diameter anodized body washers.

An accurately marked template is also provided to ensure that the installation of the snorkel body to panel work is as precise as possible.
This snorkel setup looks pretty mean on this Ford Excursion:

About The Author
Growing up, my father always believed that every family needed a truck—there’s just something about having a vehicle capable of hauling anything at a moment’s notice. That philosophy stuck with me, and it’s been the foundation of my lifelong passion for Ford trucks.
While I’m best known for my work with Ford Rangers, I’ve owned a wide variety of Ford trucks over the years—including F-150s, F-250s, F-350s, and even larger rigs like the Ford Excursion, Ford Expedition, and a 1982 Ford Econoline Sportsmobile camper van. I’ve used these vehicles for everything from family transportation to towing car trailers and campers, and each one has fueled my love for Ford’s versatility and durability.
I especially enjoy the styling of 1970s and 1980s Ford trucks—the bold designs, rugged presence, and classic charm are timeless. Sharing my passion for Ford trucks, vans, and SUVs with other enthusiasts online brings me a great deal of joy, and it’s why I created Blue Oval Trucks.
This website is dedicated to helping Ford truck enthusiasts explore, learn about, and celebrate these incredible vehicles. While I share my expertise and experiences here, Blue Oval Trucks is an independent enthusiast site and is not affiliated with Ford Motor Company.
